The Fruit World Tour

The Fruit World Tour is an amazing journey into fresh produce.

The journalists of AgroPress in Switzerland are embarking on a trip around the world to the places where produce is happening: In the orchards and greenhouses, in the science labs, on the processing plants, on ships, trucks and planes, on the markets and stores. At every stop on their journey they will report in detail about varieties and products, about technology and machinery, about crop science and about the great people in the industry.

The Fruit World Tour is on social media at all times. Text, Video and Podcasts will be produced by the team on their way. Articles will be published in the Fruit World Print Edition, in the online edition, in the Clipper Print edition. Videos will be published on Youtube and Vimeo and shared with subscribers and the online community. Podcasts will be published on iTunes and Google Play. THE FRUIT WORLD TOUR has its own social media team of 3 people to communicate, share and interact in 7 languages every day on the journey.

The Fruit World Tour offers a unique chance to offer independent, modern, fresh communication about industry’s topics.

The FRUIT WORLD TOUR will be in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, India, China, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Chile. More stops are in the planning stage. Other stops are currently under consideration.

Companies and assocations can apply to ‘be a stop’ on the FRUIT WORLD TOUR. Corporations can sponsor the TOUR as one of the signature sponsors or just become a sponsor for one stop. Just send an email to fruitworldtour@agropress.com. You will be notified about the details.

Taking part in the FRUIT WORLD TOUR – How does it work?

Companies have three options to become part of the FRUIT WORLD TOUR:

  1. TOUR MAIN SPONSOR – Only one sponsor will be selected to ‘host’ the entire tour. The sponsor will have its logos and platforms communicated at EACH stop on the journey. The sponsor gets a logo animation of 4 seconds before each video (approx. 68 videos on the way), an announcement before each podcast (20-30) and be linked to photos, posts, texts and others. (services include: production and postproduction of video, audio, text at chosen location – including team and travel excluding accomodation, publication on all online and social media channels including sharing and interaction, branding on main page and all social media channels of FRUIT WORLD TOUR with animation, audio, text and logo, targeted interaction with relevant audiences)
  2. TOUR COUNTRY/TOPIC SPONSOR – The tour country/topic sponsor will be present on every piece of content that he co-sponsors (one country, one variety, one technology) with up to 30 videos, 20 podcasts and several hundred texts and posts. Examples: (Peru, India, Sorting, Processing, Transport etc.)

  3. FRUIT WORLD TOUR STOP SPONSOR – We will cover the story of the sponsor with video, audio and text at his desired location and share the story with readers and followers of THE FRUIT WORLD, THE CLIPPER, THE FRUIT WORLD TOUR and all social platforms.
