Sofia. “Fruits production in Bulgaria increased by 20% last year, while the vegetable production – by 18%,” Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva said speaking at a press conference on the start of the We Love Bulgaria national campaign for the promotion of the 100 Tourist Sites in Bulgaria, FOCUS News Agency reporter said.
“The Bulgarian fruits and vegetables are demanded more than the imported ones. Bulgaria meets 60% of the local fruit demand, and more than 72% of the vegetable demand,” the minister explained.
